I am a licensed master’s level social worker with extensive experience supporting individuals and families as they navigate barriers, build resilience, and move toward healing and growth. I earned my MSW from Wayne State University with a concentration in Psychodynamic Theory, and I am a Certified Trauma Practitioner through Starr Commonwealth. My background includes working with adults as well as children and adolescents (K–12) and their families. I have supported clients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and grief and loss. Across all of my work, I emphasize early intervention grounded in empathy, curiosity, and a deep belief in the strength of the human spirit. My approach is collaborative and client‑centered. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where individuals can explore their emotions, develop practical skills, and reconnect with their own capacity for growth. It is an honor to walk alongside clients as they build the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Since 2000, I've dedicated much of my professional career as a life coach. In 2016, I began my journey to become a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in assisting individuals in managing their challenges. My approach integrates both intellectual and emotional aspects to support clients effectively. Using CBT, TF-CBT, and Motivational interviewing techniques, I provide structured, goal-oriented processes while focusing on achieving specific therapeutic goals. I could list my degrees (MSW from USC), my credentials (LCSW, CFTP) and my experience (10 years of individual and couples therapy). Most of all I am a mom, a sister, a grandmom and a retired veteran. I understand life from many intersections. I know the stigma of seeing a mental health professional, but I also know that most of people that are in therapy seek treatment because they have to deal with people that refuse to seek treatment for themselves. I create a safe space to process what you have experienced, what you want to change, and what are your barriers to success.

I am a licensed clinical social worker committed to having a successful therapeutic relationship with clients. I like to empower and collaboratively work with clients to address their concerns, reach their personal goals and optimal potentials. I've always wanted to help people and I've always been a really social person; therapy allows me to do both and serve clients who may not have sought therapy before. Being a Black woman, I understand that people who look like me are least likely to seek therapy; this is one of the reasons I chose to become a therapist. I love interacting with clients from all different backgrounds as this widens my therapeutic practice. I received my undergraduate degree from FSU and my MSW degree from FIU.

Greetings! My name is Brian. After years working primarily with individuals who were court-ordered to chat with me, I've just recently started my own practice to spread my wings and talk with folks eager to improve their situations without quite so much external motivation. Some background information about me if you're interested: I attained my Masters in Clinical Social Work degree from Ferris State University and graduated with the highest honors. I've worked in housing and with those experiencing homelessness. I've worked with children in foster care and with the parents trying to get them back into their care. I've worked with teens and older adults and every age between, both individually and in groups. I've helped educate about substance use, adjust from violence and trauma, cope with depression and anxiety, and develop time-management and stress-management skills, among others. I'm proud of what I've accomplished thus far, but what can I say? I want to do more!

My name is David Wilson. I'm a nationally certified counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors and a licensed professional counselor with doctoral expertise in applied learning sciences and educational psychology. I'm a trauma-informed psychotherapist with advanced training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, and other evidence-based modalities. I hold a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA, and a Doctorate in Learning Sciences. My practice is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. Built and ran a real-estate investment and property-management company before entering clinical practice. That work demanded precision leadership, hard operational discipline, system-level decision processing, and sustained emotional control under pressure. I also draw from personal history as a survivor of sexual abuse, bullying as a young child, and generational trauma. I left home as a teenager after enduring years of instability and emotional neglect, ultimately dropping out of high school before rebuilding my life through dedication, perseverance, and purpose. These experiences give me a grounded understanding of pain, survival, and the process of rebuilding. I'm also a husband of more than thirty years and a father whose children attended a top-ranked American university. These roles further deepen my perspective on family dynamics, growth, and long-term commitment. My work integrates psychological and business insight, behavioral science, and emotional intelligence to help clients move beyond survival. I work with individuals from all backgrounds, including those navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, relationship stress, and loss of direction. My therapeutic style is calm, focused, and collaborative. I listen deeply, challenge thoughtfully, and help clients uncover and change patterns that limit progress. Therapy with me emphasizes understanding the mind, calming the body, and strengthening the self. My goal is to help clients build clarity, resilience, and fulfillment through insight, structure, and purposeful growth.
