(she/her)
Hi, I’m Kristen—Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 12 years of experience supporting high-achieving women and young professionals who are navigating burnout, career transitions, and the pressure to “hold it all together.” Many of my clients are driven, capable, and successful on paper—but internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from the life they’ve built. They’re often at a turning point: ready to pivot careers, grow a business, or redefine what success actually means for them. My approach is collaborative, direct, and results-oriented. I combine evidence-based therapy with practical strategy to help you regulate stress, gain clarity, and make confident, aligned decisions—without spending years in therapy. This work is about more than insight; it’s about creating real momentum in your life and career. You can expect a space where you’re both supported and challenged—where you don’t have to perform, but you also won’t stay stuck. Together, we’ll move you out of burnout and into a more grounded, intentional way of living and working. For those who value faith as part of their healing, I also offer a nondenominational, faith-integrated approach rooted in compassion, purpose, and spiritual alignment. Whether you’re building something new, questioning your next move, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself again—this is a space to reset, realign, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
If you’ve tried therapy before and felt like it lacked direction or tangible progress, you’re not alone—and that’s something I do differently. Our work together is intentional, structured, and tailored to you. In our first session, we’ll get clear on what’s bringing you in—whether that’s burnout, feeling stuck in your career, or navigating a major life or business pivot—and define what meaningful progress actually looks like for you. From there, I create a personalized, evolving plan so you’re not just talking—you’re moving forward. Sessions are a blend of depth and strategy: we’ll process what’s coming up, build practical skills to regulate stress and decision fatigue, and develop clear next steps you can apply in your real life. This is especially helpful if you’re someone who is used to performing at a high level but feels internally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of your next move. Between sessions, I often provide targeted tools, reflections, or resources so the work doesn’t stop when the session ends. My goal is for you to leave each session with greater clarity, emotional steadiness, and a stronger sense of direction—not just insight, but momentum.
Over the past decade, I’ve learned that real growth doesn’t come from having all the answers—it comes from asking the right questions and creating space to explore them honestly. My strength as a therapist is in helping you slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what actually matters to you—especially when you’re feeling burnt out, stuck, or questioning your next move. I work particularly well with driven individuals—people who are capable, self-aware, and often successful on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of their direction. Whether you’re navigating career burnout, building a business, or considering a major pivot, I offer a space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out. My approach is both supportive and practical. I won’t impose my opinions or push you toward a version of success that isn’t yours. Instead, I help you develop the insight, emotional awareness, and tools needed to make aligned decisions with confidence. Some sessions will be focused on change and strategy; others will be about acceptance, regulation, and understanding yourself on a deeper level. Clients often share that one of the most impactful parts of our work is experiencing what it feels like to be fully seen—without judgment—while still being gently challenged to grow. This balance allows you to not only feel grounded in who you are, but also take meaningful steps toward the life and career you actually want.
I often work with entrepreneurs and high-achieving individuals who struggle with codependency, perfectionism, and boundary setting—people who pour their hearts into doing what’s best for themselves and others, yet often end up feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and disconnected in the process. These insightful, driven souls tend to overthink, overgive, and overuse logic, making it difficult to slow down or tune into what they truly need. Many of my clients seek support when they’re stretched too thin—yearning for meaningful change but feeling daunted by where to start. They often cope alone, trying to balance everyone else’s needs while neglecting their own. Together, we focus on helping them reconnect with their body, mind, and soul, creating space for rest, clarity, and self-compassion. It’s incredibly powerful to witness the transformation that happens when clients learn safe, somatic tools to regulate their nervous system and pair them with practical skills to navigate relationships, work stress, and life transitions. The shift from surviving to truly living is profound—and deeply rewarding to be part of.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
With postgraduate training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Gottman methods, I'm dedicated to the idea that true healing starts from within. These evidence-based therapies aren't just techniques; they're powerful tools to fast-track your journey to wellness. DBT provides practical skills for a balanced and fulfilling life. Its four components—mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—help manage emotions, handle challenges, improve relationships, and stay present. Mastering these skills can make life feel more stable and meaningful.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
We all have many parts, and IFS helps us to understand and embrace them. By nurturing self-esteem, fostering self-integration, and guiding trauma healing, it creates a supportive space for exploring and integrating these aspects of ourselves. Through this process, we cultivate greater self-awareness, inner harmony, and resilience.
Gottman method
Gottman is a great evidenced based therapy for couples struggling with relationship stress, intimacy, repair after infidelity & communication. It helps to provide you with evidenced based skill to help you be more effective in building a stronger and happier relationship with your significant other. Gottman tools can also be helpful for individual therapy to aid with processing relationship stress and exploring needs in relationships.
Somatic
Somatic experiencing aims to help regulate the nervous system to help you heal and move through traumatic experiences. In sessions we explore hands on experiential body based techniques to help reduce stress, trauma symptoms and anxiety in the body.

Kristen make me feel so seen and heard. Even with the complexities of navigating and articulating my own emotions, I always know that Kristen is kindly noting trends and validating/reaffirming my feelings. It is rare for someone to authentically hear and understand you as you are describing and processing trauma, and Kristen has exceeded my expectations in doing so. Kristen is the best therapist I have ever had and am so beyond thankful to have found her!
