Hi! I am a licensed therapist in the state of CA and ID. I received my Masters from the University of Phoenix and have been practicing for 5 years. I have experience helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. I have a strong background in providing effective therapeutic interventions, and I am committed to facilitating positive change and promoting mental well-being.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning that I prioritize building a trusting and collaborative relationship with you. I believe in meeting you where you are in your journey and tailoring treatment plans to best support your unique needs and goals. By creating a safe and non-judgmental space, I empower you to explore your emotions, gain insight, and develop the skills necessary to navigate life's complexities.
You deserve to feel well and live your most authentic life. I provide tools to help you embrace a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your coping mechanisms, improve your mood, and thrive with increased daily functioning, self-efficacy, self-esteem, self-awareness, and authentic self-expression.
When life feels overwhelming, our minds can convince us that we are alone in our daily challenges and during our most difficult times. We get used to handling it on our own. I believe there is a better way. Working with a psychotherapist who can deeply connect with where you are on your healing journey can be transformative. Transformation might look like addressing symptoms, resolving a problem, or seeking something more. By guiding you to deeper insights and clearer understandings, together, we are better able to confront the barriers that may be holding you back from the life you want to live.
I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have heard often from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The intention of services provided to present and future clients are to support them in navigating through the pain. The only way out is through. Not above, below, or around the pain but through it. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.
I believe we all have the strength within us to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. I am here to help you develop confidence and skills to better manage your negative thinking patterns, distressing emotions and destructive behaviors. My goal is to support you in gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, reconnecting with your authentic self and building a life that is more aligned with your values. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, social anxiety, relationship issues & life transitions. I have a particular focus on helping individuals with emetophobia (fear of vomiting).
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor dedicated to promoting healing and growth through a personalized, multidisciplinary approach. Understanding that each individual is unique, I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet the specific needs of my clients, recognizing that what works for one may not apply to all. I place a strong emphasis on building a trusting rapport and establishing a collaborative therapeutic alliance, where we work together to create lasting change. I firmly believe that every person has the potential to shape and develop the life they envision, and my role is to guide and support them in this process.
My name is Kathy Kelly, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been licensed since 2009 and have experience working with individuals, adolescents, and families in crisis. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, adjustment disorders, and understanding behavior patterns that are set from childhood. I have extensive experience working with individuals who are experiencing difficult life changes, stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic mental health disorders.
The most common approaches that I use are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, emotionally focused, mindfulness, solutions focused, grief, and trauma focused therapy. I am confortable working with various levels of life experiences, including childhood trauma, current stressors, life transitions, and I appreciate using psychodynamic and family systems therapy to help my clients understand and identify patterns of behavior, and negative thought patterns that originated from their past experiences.
I provide a safe space with the goal of making my clients feel welcome, comfortable, and at ease. I have been very successful at teaching clients coping skills, and helping clients process their feelings and emotions with the goal of finding peace, happiness, and an overall sense of well being. Your journey begins today and I will be there with you to guide you and support you.
Im a kind and caring person fundamentally. I studied social work, which feels like a natural extension of who I am, at Barry University. I have served a variety of populations since my MSW in my roles as an inpatient/ER case manager in acute care and psychiatric hospitals. I am clinically licensed and work independently serving clients through Telehealth. My goal is to provide my clients support and guidance and provide a safe space for them to express themselves. I enjoy treating each client individually and collaborating with them to address their concerns and implement changes to improve their quality of life.
I am a very straightforward, direct clinician. I work best with motivated clients who may not have the answers but are ready and willing to do the work. I have significant experience working with clients at all levels of care in substance use and mental health treatment. I enjoy untangling ruptures and attachment styles to provide insight around what the underlying issues you are currently struggling with. I am proud and excited to launch my private practice to focus on this client base. Please note I do not take insurance for couples therapy, please message me for more information around this.
I utilize a positive theoretical orientation which assumes that all individuals possess an innate desire for well-balanced emotional/mental health. I believe a person enters therapy with a strong wish, whether conscious or unconscious, to overcome obstacles and free themselves from constraints that are holding them back. I find that everyone needs a slightly different approach to accomplish these goals, so I adjust in technique for each specific challenge. I truly enjoy the experience of guiding my clients through this process and consider it a privilege to play such an important role in a person's life.
“Crying does not indicate that you are weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you are alive.”
― Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre
At my core, I am a therapist who believes in the transformative power of depth, empathy, humor, and the arts. I’ve spent my career helping people understand themselves more fully — not only by reducing symptoms, but by uncovering the narratives, emotions, and self-limiting beliefs that have kept them small or stuck. I work from a humanistic and psychoanalytic foundation, integrating mindfulness, ACT, and solution-focused strategies to help clients access resilience, self-compassion, and real change.
I bring a warm, grounded, and creative presence into the room. My background as an artist and writer shapes my work: I’m attentive to symbolism, story, imagination, and the deeper layers of a person’s emotional life. Humor is also one of my most natural tools, not to avoid pain, but to help clients feel safe, open, and connected as they explore difficult experiences.
Across corporate mental health, trauma work, refugee support, and private practice, I’ve seen how people flourish when they’re permitted to be fully themselves. I help clients build self-esteem through honesty, curiosity, and acceptance; loosen rigid patterns; and move beyond the internalized messages or roles that no longer serve them.
Hi, I’m Robyn Slayton-Lopez, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should feel supportive, genuine, and, even when we’re doing hard work, sometimes a little bit human and real. I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, substance use, and dual diagnoses. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism, through an affirming and strengths-based lens.
My approach is compassionate, practical, and tailored to each person I work with. I draw from evidence-based models such as CBT, DBT, Inference-based CBT, and ERP, blending them with creative, collaborative strategies that make therapy meaningful and engaging. I want clients to feel seen, supported, and equipped with tools that actually work in their day-to-day lives.
I don’t believe therapy has to feel clinical or stuffy. You can expect a mix of warmth, humor, and honesty in our sessions, because real healing happens when you can show up as your full self, without judgment.
If you’re ready to work with someone who understands both the science of mental health and the uniqueness of being human, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Welcome! I’m Elyse, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with ten years of clinical experience, licensed in California, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. I specialize in supporting women, mothers, children, and teens through anxiety, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. My work is collaborative and goal-oriented—I partner with every client to help them move toward meaningful, lasting change.
To others it may seem like you've got it all together, but on the inside you're spinning out of control. Panic randomly punches you in the chest, taking your breath away, and you can't focus on anything else other than how to make it stop. You are consumed by trying to keep up with everyone else since they seem to have it all together, but you can barely function through the day. You feel like an awful mom because you are lashing out on your kids and hating the daily monotony instead of "embracing the joy of motherhood." You feel like you are failing your partner because somewhere along this journey you just lost yourself.
You want to be a better mom to your kids. And remember why you fell in love with your partner. And stop the tornado of anxiety that knocks you out on the regular. You want to stop living by the expectations of others and rediscover who you truly are. It's time to win back some peace of mind and self-worth and attract the life you want.
I have the DBT and mindfulness skills, which uses both mind and body exercises that will help you manage the crippling anxiety, love yourself better, be a more present and joyful mom, improve your relationships, and attract the life you want.

Hi, I’m Yvonne.
If you’ve found your way here, you may be moving through a difficult or transitional season. Please know—it's okay. Hard moments often become the doorway to deep transformation when we allow ourselves to slow down, feel, and truly listen to what’s beneath the pain. I’m here to walk beside you as you navigate that journey, wherever it leads. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in warmth and respect for your unique story. Through a gentle psychodynamic lens, I explore how past experiences and unmet needs may be shaping your emotions, patterns, and relationships today. Together, we’ll create space for the parts of you longing to be seen, heard, and understood. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, grief, anger, teen and family concerns, spiritual exploration, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. I offer video telehealth sessions through Grow Therapy. Above all, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate place to explore the deeper matters of the heart. Many of us carry an inner child still waiting to be acknowledged and freed. Doing this work isn’t always easy, but it can be profoundly life-changing. I’ve walked through my own wilderness seasons—and they’ve shaped me with love, endurance, and hope. That same hope is what I offer you. If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to join you on this beautiful and transformational journey.
Blessings, and I hope to meet you soon.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both California and Texas. I received my master's from Notre Dame de Namur and have been practicing for 13 years. I help adults who are struggling with intense emotions or in the midst of a major life change, to find balance again in their life. My goal is to support clients in living their most authentic life.
As a **licensed marriage and family therapist** with 15 years of experience, I've had the opportunity to work with diverse clients, from individuals as young as three to adults of all ages, as well as couples and families.
I began my career in substance abuse counseling and DUI classes. Over the years, I’ve specialized in **talk therapy, play therapy, and art therapy**, with a focus on helping clients resolve **unresolved trauma**. I'm also trained in **Parent-Child Interaction Therapy** and can provide these services via telehealth.
Most recently, I spent six years as the **Behavioral Health Program Director** for a foster agency in California. This role was incredibly rewarding and allowed me to work with children in foster care, their biological and foster parents, and adoptive families. Although I loved my work as a director, I truly missed the hands-on experience of working directly with individuals and families in a therapeutic setting, which is why I am back in private practice.
I’m Monica Alvarez, an LCPC licensed in California and Illinois and I provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. My goal is to create a supportive, compassionate space where you can grow and thrive. Let’s work together to help you find clarity and healing.
Hi, I’m Candace — a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Community Counseling from Lakeland University and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from UW-Stevens Point.
I’m a straightforward, no-fluff therapist who believes the best work happens when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself. My clients often tell me I’m not a “typical” therapist — and they’re right. I’m progressive, direct, sometimes sarcastic, and always focused on creating a space where you don’t have to pretend.
I work well with people who want honesty, humor, and real conversations — whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, identity exploration, or just feeling stuck. I’m an animal lover (my dogs are basically coworkers), I have tattoos, and I’m not easily rattled. You won’t shock me, and you don’t have to filter yourself here.
If you’re looking for a therapist who keeps it real, creates a safe space, and isn’t afraid to challenge you when needed — with compassion and maybe a little dry humor — I might be a good fit.

As a therapist, I love helping people get clear on what matters most to them- what they want life to look and feel like, and then walking alongside them as they take steps toward those goals. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership, where we’re exploring together what helps you feel more grounded, capable, and connected.

This makes it easy to loose sight of the most important person in your life....YOU! You are the most important project that you will ever work on and I am so glad that you are here.
