Hello, and welcome! I am Grace Fomunung. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have a plethora of experience working with patients in the mental health field. I provide a Complete Psychiatric Evaluation to all my patients before treatment. I provide specialized care for clients ranging from adolescents to seniors that struggle with anxiety, depression, and more in both inpatient and outpatient mental health hospitals in crisis stabilization. I also work with clients who have schizophrenia, OCD, insomnia, bipolar disorder, dementia, PTSD, substance abuse, panic disorders, schizoaffective disorders, and more. I have obtained experience in partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and addiction and drugs intensive outpatient programs (ADIOP). I also work in a psychiatric mental health hospital. I will do a Complete Psychiatric Evaluation, ask questions about your sleep and stress levels, and provide individualized care by listening to all of your questions and concerns. I will then provide an individualized treatment plan. You will be the priority and you will have a voice that is heard in this space. I have acquired extensive valuable training that enables me to see rapid results with those that I treat, and I also specialize in crisis stabilization for both adult and adolescent clients, and my approach includes carrying out in-depth psychiatric examinations, managing medications, and applying psychopharmacotherapy. It is of utmost importance to me that I support YOU in living a life that is as fulfilling and successful as possible. I strongly believe that healthcare should be accessible, reasonably priced, and of the highest possible quality, all of which I provide. I am very passionate about assisting individuals in getting access to quality mental health care. I exhibit the qualities of proficiency, empathy, respect, and compassion. I care for my patients as if they were members of my own family which I believe makes me unique in this practice. I have been in the field of psychiatry and treating patients for over 10 years, and as a result, as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I firmly believe that each individual is special. I also have experience with providing hospice care and preparing incarcerated mental health clients to stand trial. As a result, I work closely with my clients to assess their bio-psycho-social aspects, and I pay particular attention to stress and trauma that could have an impact on their healing and mental health.
