About me

I have several years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through a range of life challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and chronic illness/cancer. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based therapies. I believe in creating a collaborative, compassionate space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to move toward healing and growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a foundation for a strong therapeutic relationship. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy, explore your goals, and discuss any questions or concerns you may have about the process. Together, we’ll begin to identify the areas you’d like to focus on and collaborate on a plan that feels supportive and aligned with your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and supported, even when exploring difficult or deeply rooted experiences. I bring a grounded, trauma-informed approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based modalities like EMDR, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques. Clients often share that they appreciate my ability to balance compassion with directness and clarity, and to tailor interventions in a way that feels both collaborative and empowering.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are ready to explore their inner world, make meaningful changes, and engage in a collaborative therapeutic process with openness and curiosity. I’m especially well-suited to support clients navigating trauma, chronic stress, relationship challenges, or life transitions. Whether you're working toward emotional regulation, healing from the past, or building a more connected and values-driven life, I offer a grounded, direct, and compassionate space to support your journey.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I incorporate ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult emotions, clarify personal values, and take committed action aligned with those values. In my practice, I often integrate ACT with mindfulness-based interventions to support clients navigating chronic illness, trauma, and anxiety. ACT’s emphasis on acceptance and values-based living complements other modalities I use and offers clients a compassionate framework for sustainable change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I regularly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and increase emotional regulation. In my practice, CBT serves as a foundational approach for treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment-related challenges. I tailor CBT interventions to meet each client's needs, often integrating it with mindfulness and somatic techniques to enhance self-awareness and support lasting behavioral change.

Eclectic

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities—including CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based techniques—based on each client’s unique needs, goals, and presenting concerns. This flexibility allows me to tailor interventions in real time, integrating tools that support emotional regulation, insight, and behavioral change. My practice emphasizes responsiveness and collaboration, ensuring that treatment remains both client-centered and grounded in current clinical research.

EMDR

I use EMDR to support clients in processing traumatic memories and reducing the emotional distress associated with them. In my practice, EMDR is often integrated with somatic and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients build safety, increase regulation, and develop resilience throughout the reprocessing phases. I have found EMDR especially effective for clients with complex trauma, PTSD, and anxiety, and I tailor its application based on individual readiness and treatment goals.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate DBT to help clients develop skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. In my practice, I use DBT both as a structured skills-based intervention and as an integrative framework for working with clients facing intense emotional experiences, trauma histories, or relational difficulties. I often weave DBT strategies into individual sessions to support clients in building stability, self-awareness, and more adaptive coping patterns.
