Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida with a Master’s of Science degree from Walden University and 4 years of experience. I specialize in helping individuals navigate relationship challenges, work-life balance, and the impacts of trauma. Using experiential therapy, I guide clients in exploring their emotions and experiences in a deeper, more meaningful way. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focused on helping you build confidence in yourself while addressing feelings of being stuck or overwhelmed. Together, we’ll explore your strengths and create a clear, empowering path forward toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, you can expect me to get to know you as a person and understand what brings you to counseling. I'll guide the session, gathering important information that will help us set clear treatment goals and focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance to ensure a supportive and collaborative relationship moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths as a provider are my active listening skills, compassion, and empathy, which allow me to truly understand and connect with my clients. I approach each session with curiosity and creativity, offering collaborative solutions while maintaining a calm, supportive presence that helps foster trust and comfort.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with professionals who are eager to grow but often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious about their careers. It's incredibly rewarding to help them navigate these challenges, rediscover their sense of purpose, and develop strategies to move forward with confidence and clarity. I also work well with first responders who need to process trauma.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am a trained EMDR therapist, and I use it in my practice to help process trauma, reduce anxiety, and increase confidence. Some people spend many years in talk therapy and do not get what others have in less time with EMDR.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I am informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and am currently undergoing extensive training to help people explore their internal system and the various parts of themselves that shape how they interact with the world. "All Parts Are Welcome" with curiousity, clarity, compassion, confidence, courage, creativity, connectedness, and calm.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

This forms the foundation of my work with all clients: staying present and engaged in the therapy session, accepting the psychological experience without defense, and remaining open to change in pursuit of meaningful goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This is basic psychology, the building block taught in psychology 101, that I have always loved. Simplistic in theory but very effective.

Positive Psychology

This is the philosophy behind my therapy practice: enhancing well-being by focusing on strengths, happiness, resilience, meaningful relationships, and personal growth.
