Do you take responsibility for other people's emotions and ignore your own needs? Are you feeling stressed, drained, and stuck? I help millennial high achievers, people pleasers, and perfectionists manage anxiety and find the parts of you that feel not good enough. Together, we can figure out what's not working and get you unstuck. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I will teach you how to use mindful self-compassion and cognitive behavior therapy to manage everyday anxiety. Whether you're having trouble sleeping, worrying all the time, or waiting for the next thing to go wrong, anxiety therapy can help. In our sessions together, I'll show you practical and easy ways to calm your body and mind so you can respond to the hard things in your life in a more productive way. Our first meeting will be a free online 20-minute consultation to see if we would be a good fit working together. During the video call, you can share what’s going on, ask me questions, and we can explore how I can be of service. At the end of the consultation, I will let you know if I feel I can help you accomplish your goals. You don't have to make a decision at that time. I want you to take the time you need to decide if I'm the right person for you.
What makes me different? I am not afraid, to be honest with you. I’m a careful listener and read between the lines to help you uncover what is really going on inside your inner world. My clients tell me that they appreciate my ability to use humor and storytelling to help them feel empowered and inspired to make changes and/or think about things differently.
CBT can be used to change behaviors by first challenging your thinking. Starting with exploring the quality of your thoughts is imperative. You will learn how to increase your awareness of low-quality thoughts and reframe them to more helpful thoughts working with me.
