I have eight years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults addressing various of concerns such as anxiety, depression, parenting, addiction, and relationships issues. I think with the support, understanding, and resilience; we can change the direction of our situation. I have lived different challenging situations in my life and through those situations, I believe I can help someone to navigate difficult situations in your life. I desire to help as many individuals as I can to recovery, healing and hope for their future.
The first session with me is person-centered meaning it's all about you. It's an opportunity for you to share with me what you want me to know most about you. I prefer to get my information directly from you rather than just reading something about you. We can set any boundaries or expectations that you have for therapy. Many times, the first session is completing intake/assessment, but I hope that you leave the first session feeling comfortable, heard, and a sense of hope.
Asking important and hard questions and knowing when that hard question needs to wait Actively listening; I have been told I'm a great listener not only to what is being said but also what isn't being said Relatability and authenticity; I'm someone who can relate to many individuals' situations and being "real" with the other person

It's important to me to know your story from you and what someone else may say about you. You know what you need just maybe not where to start. So, I'm here to help guide you and support during the changes you would like to make. Once, I have an understanding of your goals then I may bring in other methods to support in your journey; however, in this progress you take the lead.
I’ve been using Psychoeducation in my therapy work for the past eight years. It’s helped dozens of clients to understand what is going on behind how we feel or behave. When we are able to understand the "why" behind what we think or how we feel, we can start to identify and implement strategies to change those negative thoughts and feelings.
I’ve been using CBT in my therapy for the past eight years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety/depression. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious, depressed, and stressed life.
