(she/her)
Hi, I'm Lauren, and I am a licensed counselor in GA and NV. As a mental health counselor, I believe in meeting you exactly where you are—with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don’t have to navigate it alone. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices, but more importantly, I take time to truly understand your story, your strengths, and what healing looks like for you. Outside of my work, I love spending time with my husband and kids, whether we're traveling together or just enjoying a quiet evening at home. I also enjoy baking and planning our next family vacation. Together, we'll work toward building more balance, clarity, and resilience in your life—at your own pace, and in a way that feels meaningful to you.
The first session will start with a brief introduction so you can learn a little about me, my background, and how I approach therapy. I’ll also invite you to share what brought you here and what you’re hoping to gain from our work together. Part of the session will include a standard intake process. This helps me get the full picture of your current concerns, your personal history, and any important context that might help guide our work. It’s a chance for me to better understand you as a whole person, not just the challenges you’re facing. I will use this information to create a tailored plan on how to help you on your journey.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. I approach each session with warmth, empathy, and curiosity, which enables me to build meaningful and trusting relationships.
I love working with clients who are ready to heal from past experiences, especially those related to trauma, anxiety, or depression. Any population from adolescent to adult.
