Welcome to Porter Psychiatry LLC via Grow Therapy! I’m Danielle, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who provides mental health/psychiatric evaluation and medication management via telehealth. My goal is to listen and understand your mental health needs and my treatment approach is to help individuals find therapeutic symptom relief with as little medication necessary. If you’re experiencing troubling symptoms, a comprehensive mental health evaluation can help determine whether medication may be helpful for you. When medication is recommended, you will learn of the evidence-based, first-line treatment options and therapeutic alternatives, as well as, what to expect— the benefits, risks, and possible side effects, so that you are able to make fully informed decisions regarding your treatment plan. If you have any doubt with your current medication(s), a comprehensive mental health evaluation can reassess your symptoms to ensure accuracy of your diagnosis and treatment, and address any questions/concerns you have. If you’d like to change medications, I will help you learn of your options and recommend a safe tapering schedule to reduce undesirable side effects. Whether you are experiencing symptoms as a result of situational life stressors or you’ve been battling this lifelong, we will develop an evidence-based treatment plan that will help you get back to the life you’ve always wanted to live.
As your psychiatric provider, I am also your personal mental health advocate! My clients can be transparent without fear of judgement or unwarranted criticism during our sessions. This is a safe space to talk and truly be heard.

Danielle is a great psychiatrist. She always listens and is open to all my concerns or questions. She takes a collaborative approach to tackling issues, I never feel like I’m being talked down to or like she doesn’t have my best interests in mind.
