About me

Hi! I’m a board certified nurse psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. I received my masters from Walden University and my undergrad at the university of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I have 6 years of emergency nursing experience and 2 years specializing in psychiatry. I have experience with acute inpatient psychiatric disorders as well as outpatient therapy and medication management. I aim to help patients of all ages with various mental health concerns by utilizing a holistic approach to help achieve success in all areas of life.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into an in-depth psychosocial history, treatment history, and any specific challenges you're facing. Then we will discuss your individual treatment goals, what you would like to achieve. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan, which may include medication management and therapeutic interventions. We will discuss treatment options prior to our next follow up appointment.

Having worked with a wide variety of clients with various mental health challenges, I have been able to tailor treatment plans to each individual based on one’s needs and individual goals.

Encourages the patient to focus on, understand, and feel compassion for oneself during negative thought processes. Strongly focuses on nurturing the compassion within oneself.

Designed to help the patient work through the various stages and ranges of emotions one may feel after losing a loved one.
