I am a compassionate mental health therapist dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where individuals can explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward healing and personal growth. My approach is rooted in trauma- informed care, recognizing ways life experiences can shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world. I work with individuals facing a range of challenges, including trauma, personality disorders, emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and the everyday stressors that come with balancing work, family, identity, and personal expectations. I strive to create an environment where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with greater self- awareness, emotional balance, and confidence.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Individuals can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, respected, and understood. In our sessions, we will work together to explore your experiences, identify patterns that may be impacting your well- being, and develop practical tools to help you cope with challenges more effectively. My approach is collaborative and will move at a pace that is comfortable to the individual.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My methods are collaborative, trauma informed and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I integrate evidence- based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Seeking Safety. In sessions I combine these approaches with person -centered care, harm reduction strategies, exposure techniques, and somatic practices to support healing, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier coping skills. My goal is to help individuals better understand their experiences, develop practical tools for managing distress, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard and valued. By prioritizing empathy, authenticity, and collaboration, I help individuals explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and develop confidence in their ability to create meaningful change and healing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. Through practical tools and structured strategies, we will develop healthier thinking patterns, improve coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting changes in how individuals respond to stress and life challenges.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to support trauma recovery by helping individuals examine and reframe unhelpful beliefs related to traumatic experiences. This structured, evidence-based approach promotes understanding of how trauma impacts thoughts and emotions, allowing for healthier perspectives, reduced distress, and greater emotional healing over time.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthier interpersonal relationships. This approach helps individuals build practical skills to manage intense emotions, reduce impulsive behaviors, and respond to difficult situations with greater balance, awareness, and self-control.

Eclectic

I use an eclectic approach that integrates multiple evidence-based methods to meet individual needs. By drawing from various therapeutic models, treatment can be tailored to address unique challenges, support personal strengths, and promote meaningful growth, healing, and improved coping in everyday life.
