My therapeutic style is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. You are the expert in your own experience, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you gain insight into your patterns, your pain, and your potential for growth. I specialize in helping people heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation using a blend of evidence-based and compassionate approaches. My work integrates EMDR, IFS, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness practices - all grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered foundation. You don't have to navigate this alone. My goal is to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can learn, reflect, grow, and begin to alleviate emotional suffering at a pace that feels right for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your concerns, goals, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and begin collaborating on a plan that feels supportive and aligned with your needs. This session moves at your pace, with an emphasis on safety, comfort, and building a strong therapeutic relationship. This space is for you, and my goal is for you to feel safe, supported, and able to build a trusting relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist include creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. I bring a thoughtful balance of structure and flexibility, integrating evidence-based skills with deep, trauma-informed work. I am collaborative, compassionate, and attuned, helping clients move at a pace that feels safe while still supporting meaningful growth, insight, and lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who feel stuck in patterns shaped by trauma, anxiety, mood difficulties, or overwhelming emotions and are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. They may struggle with emotional regulation, self-criticism, relationship challenges, or the lingering impact of past experiences. I work best with clients who value a collaborative, compassionate approach to therapy and are open to building skills while also exploring deeper emotional and trauma-related healing at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients build practical skills, challenge self-defeating beliefs, and develop healthier coping strategies that support lasting change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies. I use DBT to help clients improve emotional regulation, tolerate distress, strengthen relationships, and balance acceptance with meaningful behavioral change.

EMDR

EMDR is a trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming. In my work, EMDR is used to reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences and support healing from trauma in a structured, evidence-based way.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own role and intention. I use IFS to help clients develop curiosity and compassion toward their inner experiences, heal wounded parts, and strengthen a sense of internal balance and self-leadership.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-informed care recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and prioritizes safety, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. In my practice, this approach guides all treatment, ensuring therapy moves at a pace that feels safe and respectful while supporting resilience and healing.
