Life, quite simply, is often messy and complicated. It also has the potential to have beautiful and fulfilling moments. Whether you are facing major life challenges, or simply need a safe, comforting space to explore your goals, I provide a therapeutic atmosphere that offers just that. My goal as a therapist is to help you better understand yourself in a way that is empowering, as well as provide you the tools to heal from negative past experiences, and develop healthy thinking, emotional, and behavioral patterns. If a non-judgmental, acceptance-based empathetic experience is what you're seeking, you've come to the right place. While I am passionate about counseling people through all walks of life, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorders and grief/bereavement processing, as well as working with those struggling to identify and communicate boundaries. I utilize several therapeutic modalities depending on your needs, including CBT, DBT and SFBT. Taking the first step can often feel like the hardest part of starting therapy, but please know that you will be met with compassion and encouragement. Our first session is a relaxed appointment where I get to know you, and we work together to build a plan to achieve your goals. Hope to hear from you soon!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Given my extensive career in Medical Social Work prior to Private Practice, I am especially equipped to assist clients who are accepting and navigating complex medical diagnoses and challenges. Additionally, given my experience in Hospice care, I am particularly passionate about helping clients through the extremely emotional challenging process of grief.
