I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 10 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, caring for children, adolescents, and adults across inpatient and outpatient settings. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of North Florida and am passionate about helping individuals achieve lasting mental wellness through compassionate, evidence-based care. I understand that seeking mental health treatment can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very first visit. I believe the best outcomes happen when we work together as a team. Every treatment plan is personalized to your unique needs, goals, and lifestyle—not a one-size-fits-all approach.

I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Florida with over ten years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field, ranging from child and adult inpatient and outpatient settings.

I treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and other mood and behavioral concerns. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive counseling, education, and practical lifestyle strategies. When appropriate, we may also discuss the role of sleep, nutrition, exercise, and evidence-informed supplements as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. During your initial appointment, you can expect a thorough psychiatric evaluation, an open conversation about your concerns, education about your diagnosis, and a collaborative discussion of treatment options. I believe that informed patients make empowered decisions, and I strive to ensure you feel confident, involved, and comfortable every step of the way. Whether you’re seeking care for yourself or your child, my commitment is to meet you where you are, help you navigate life’s challenges with compassion and respect, and support you in building a healthier, more fulfilling future. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward better mental health.

First session

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll discuss what brought you to treatment, the challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to achieve. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns at your own pace. During the evaluation, I’ll ask about your mental and physical health history, current symptoms, medications, family history, relationships, lifestyle, and any significant life experiences that may be affecting your emotional well-being. We’ll also explore how your symptoms are impacting your daily life, work, school, or relationships. By the end of our session, you’ll have a better understanding of your symptoms, possible diagnoses, and the treatment options available to you. Together, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals, and you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions so you leave feeling informed, supported, and empowered about your next steps.

Strengths

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with my clients. I believe every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and respected, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly share your concerns. I bring strong communication skills, empathy, and a calm, compassionate presence to every session. I take the time to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and understand the full picture—not just your symptoms. My attention to detail and evidence-based approach allow me to develop personalized treatment plans that address your unique needs and goals. Above all, I am committed to partnering with you throughout your mental health journey, providing education, support, and guidance so you feel empowered to make informed decisions and achieve meaningful, lasting progress.

Ideal clients

I love working with children and their parents. As a mother, I understand firsthand how difficult it is to have a child who is not well. My goal when I work with families is to listen to their needs, be empathetic, and formulate an effective treatment plan.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past three years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation helps my clients to understand their diagnoses and treatment, and their family to improve treatment outcome.

Integrative

I offer an integrative treatment approach that includes medication management, therapy, supplements, lifestyle coaching, sleep hygiene and more.
