New to Grow
I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience supporting adults through challenges like anxiety, depression, stress. My style is warm, practical, and collaborative. I believe therapy and medication work best when tailored to each person's needs and desires. I value clear communication, a sense of humor when it fits, and creating a space where you can feel both safe and understood.
We'll talk about your story, your goals, and start building a plan together.
I listen closely and notice patterns or themes that might otherwise be overlooked. When it's helpful I'll share these observations and offer practical steps at your pace and with your goals in mind.
My best work is with people who are ready or just wanting to be ready, to look at patterns in their life. Whatever chapter you're in, we can explore those patterns and start putting small, meaningful steps in place towards change.
We'll look at patterns between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By spotting unhelpful cycles, we can practice practical tools and/or cognitive behavioral maneuvers to shift them so you feel more steady and in control of everyday life.
Sometimes two seeming opposing things can be true at once. You may feel anxious or uncertain and still take steps towards what matters most to you. With ACT I'll help expand your capacity to hold onto your awareness of uncomfortable emotions while choosing actions that align with your values.
Together, as if we're making a subway sandwich passing it back and forth, we'll pay attention to how you connect with me and with others in your life. We'll use those insights to strengthen your ability to connect and create healthier, more supportive, and aligned relationships.
Strengths are like tools in a toolbox where sometimes they get buried, or forgotten. In therapy we'll rediscover those tools and even find new ways to apply them. This helps you see that change, momentum, and resilience are within reach, that it doesn't just come from adding new tools or skills but also using what you already have in more intentional ways.
