Life can feel heavy sometimes, and reaching out for support is a brave and powerful first step. I'm here to offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s going on and begin the process of healing and growth. I was drawn to this work because I’ve always been fascinated by how people heal, grow, and rebuild—even after really tough experiences. Over the years, I’ve worked with so many incredible individuals who’ve taught me about strength, vulnerability, and the power of connection. Being a therapist is more than a job to me—it’s something I feel truly honored to do. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are—with compassion, curiosity, and respect. I use a mix of evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), EMDR, ACT, and DBT to help you work through trauma, manage emotions, and build a more meaningful life. But therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—together, we’ll figure out what works best for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first time we meet, it’s really about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re hoping to work on, and any questions you have. We’ll start by identifying what matters most to you—whether that’s easing anxiety, improving relationships, managing triggers, or just feeling more like you again. I’ll help you set realistic, meaningful goals, and we’ll take things one step at a time. You’ll never be expected to do it all at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My clients often tell me I am very empathetic, and they feel truly heard in our sessions. I bring warmth, honesty, and a sense of calm to our work together. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation—not an interrogation—and that it’s okay to be completely yourself in the process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with adults who are dealing with trauma, addiction, and stress-related challenges. Many of my clients are veterans, first responders, or healthcare workers—people who take care of others but sometimes forget to take care of themselves. If you’re feeling burned out, stuck, or disconnected, you’re in the right place. We’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, connected, and in control again.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you build a better relationship with your thoughts and emotions, instead of struggling against them. I focus on creating a supportive space where we explore what truly matters to you, and use values-based strategies to guide your actions. ACT is very helpful for coping with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I will help you identify and change certain thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to stress, anxiety, and other challenges. We work together to build awareness of these patterns and develop practical strategies to create lasting, meaningful change.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I use Cognitive Processing Therapy to assist those who have experienced trauma understand how their thoughts about the trauma affect their emotions and daily life. We will work together to identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs, reduce distress, and build healthier thinking patterns. This is a structured approach that supports healing and helps to regain a sense of control and safety.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use a variety of DBT techniques to help reduce distress, increase emotional resilience, and promote healthier ways of thinking and behaving

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help you become more present and accepting of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. I incorporate mindfulness techniques such as breathing exercises, body scans, and guided meditation to reduce stress, increase emotional regulation, and support overall well-being.
