My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In our sessions, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to really connect with you on a personal level. We’ll dive into those thoughts and feelings that might be weighing you down, and together, we'll explore ways to shift them into something more positive and empowering. My goal is to help you not just feel better in the moment, but to give you the tools you need to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. It’s about creating real, lasting change that resonates with who you are and where you want to go.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my sessions, I use solution-focused therapy to meet my clients where they are and help them tap into their own strengths. Together, we focus on what’s working well and explore how to build on those successes. Rather than getting stuck in problems, we shift the conversation toward solutions, envisioning the positive changes they want to see in their lives. It’s a collaborative journey where we set realistic, meaningful goals, and I’m right there with them every step of the way, celebrating progress and creating a path forward that feels achievable and empowering.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my sessions, I focus on truly understanding you as an individual. I use person-centered therapy to create a safe, welcoming space where you can express your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. My goal is to listen deeply, to see the world through your eyes, and to support you in discovering your own path forward. Together, we’ll work on building your self-confidence and uncovering the strengths that already exist within you, helping you navigate life’s challenges with a renewed sense of purpose and clarity.

Eclectic

In my approach to therapy, I blend the strengths of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy to create a personalized experience for each client. By combining CBT’s practical strategies for changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors with the empathy and deep listening of person-centered therapy, I ensure that you feel heard and understood. I also integrate solution-focused techniques to help you identify and build on your strengths, focusing on what’s working well in your life. This eclectic approach allows me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and goals, supporting you in making meaningful and lasting changes.

Attachment-based

When I work with families, I use Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) to create a space where each member feels truly seen, heard, and valued. I understand that every family has its unique challenges, so I focus on building trust and nurturing the relationships that matter most. With TBRI, I help you and your family address the root causes of behaviors, strengthen your connections, and work together towards your shared goals. My aim is to support you in creating a more loving, understanding, and resilient family dynamic that reflects your values and aspirations.
