Do you ever feel like you’re five years old again, helpless to protect yourself? Maybe you think that as an adult you should be able to handle emotions more easily, but you are often unable to soothe yourself. That experience is more common than you think, and it frequently ties back to childhood experiences. It pains me to think of someone having to go through this alone, and it’s a big reason why I became a therapist. I’m passionate about helping people heal from the past, overcome their fears, and live up to their full potential. My role is to be your guide as you find ways to heal or effectively manage your symptoms.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. We will explore together some of the important goals that you have for your therapeutic journey and any questions you might have about counseling.
My number one priority is YOU, and to provide you with a safe and comfortable online environment to work on any goals that you may have.
As a counselor, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals manage anxiety and improve relationships. CBT allows clients to identify and reframe negative thoughts, develop coping strategies for anxiety, and enhance communication skills. For couples, CBT fosters healthier interactions by addressing unproductive patterns and promoting mutual understanding. This approach supports building stronger, more resilient relationships and effectively managing anxiety.
