(she/her)
When we feel overwhelmed, depressed, or stagnant it can be difficult to reach out. When we feel lost in our relationships, our careers, or question our purpose in life, we may not feel satisfied or content. If we think our loved ones don't understand us, or we’re afraid to open up to them, we may become isolated and lonely. If we catch ourselves in addictive cycles or patterns, we feel defeated because nothing we’ve tried seems to be working. Maybe we battle with anxiety and depression; unable to get out of bed. If only we could learn a different way. If this resonates with you, there is a way through.
When we work together, I hold a space for you to open up and feel empowered. No two people are alike, so we will co-create a wellness plan to meet your specific needs, and through our work together, you will rediscover the light and strength within you. During sessions, you will receive homework. It is optional, but I find that those willing to do the work and/or practice the tools, see the best results. Homework assignments are designed to increase your understanding of what is discussed during your sessions. Homework can include written work (through assigned journaling prompts), creative exercises, breathing or mindfulness exercises, or even listening to a song. Since this is your therapy, I love to integrate areas of your interest into the homework whenever possible.
My biggest strength as a therapist is helping men and women heal from their past, and break free from any blockages keeping them from feeling fulfilled, confident, or happy. I especially love helping people build trust within themselves to experience healthier relationships and overall happiness.

I feel incredibly safe talking with Alexandra Ruberti. So grateful I found her. She listens and asks questions that I never thought to ask myself. I really love the homework she gives too. It helps me stay focused on me and my goals during the week.

I felt like she listened to me and gave me great advice on how to achieve my goals. She was quick to notice some deeper layers than what I was just telling her. I felt heard. I know feel more motivated in strengthening my weaknesses as well. I am so grateful to have found this therapist.

Alex is wonderful. She has been a safe space for me to share my thoughts and receive unbiased feedback. I feel very validated after our sessions. I love that Alex truly takes the time to listen to me and helps guide me to make connections that I may not have thought of unless given another perspective. She does a wonderful job of helping me highlight my small “wins” that I may not always acknowledge. I really appreciate our sessions and her positive energy. I recommend her to everyone :)
