Hello there. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, dedicated to helping professional women find hope while navigating through anxiety and burnout. l am passionate about assisting motivated women who are experiencing life transitions such as career changes, moving, divorce, and loss. As well as women experiencing life challenges such as burnout, job dissatisfaction, poor self care routine, high stress, time management issues, and health challenges. My experience includes assisting a variety of clients in community mental health, persons with various forms of trauma, and clients adjusting to life transitions and life stress. I help clients learn how to calm their inner storm through a solution focused approach; along with holistic approaches such as mindfulness, meditation, creative expression, and body movement. I provide therapy that encourages self-compassion, acceptance, and resiliency.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect to have an open conversation about your background, what brings you to therapy, what stressors or life events are causing concern, and what you hope to gain from treatment. Together, we will create goals that will help you reach the desired outcomes you wish to see. You will also get to know more about the therapeutic process, and how it can be helpful for your journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths include my therapeutic approach and dedication to professional development. I am dedicated to providing high quality services through participating in ongoing educational trainings that relate to my specialties and clinical interests. I use a solution focused approach while integrating various treatment modalities to better serve clients. I value creating a safe place where clients feel seen, heard, and felt. I often share with clients “We will do the work together, and find humor as we go”.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has helped clients identify and change unhelpful thinking and emotional patterns, so that they can thrive in every day life. I use CBT to encourage self reflection and curiosity towards the root causes of unhelpful beliefs/behaviors; while teaching clients alternative ways to challenge outdated patterns and beliefs.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT has helped clients learn how to cope and address life circumstances effectively in real time. In therapy, I use DBT to show clients that with time and practice, they can change their emotional responses to stress and daily life challenges. The change we deeply desire is possible through consistent use of helpful practices and skills, that of which DBT provides. DBT provides skill training in four areas: emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I provide client-centered therapy that is compassionate, open and safe. I encourage clients to trust in the autonomy they have over their life choices and actions. It may feel scary to do life alone, which is where having a safe space to share and brainstorm options is important.
