Hi there! My name is Tiniya, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Illinois. I received my Masters from Aurora University and have been providing therapy for 5 years. I work with people who struggle with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to those struggling with relationships, self esteem or overall daily stress become the best versions of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us work in collaboration to create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with a wide range of clients for the past 5 years, I've developed a the ability to adapt to the needs of the individual while maintaining a non-judgemental environment. I do well with balancing an empathic approach while also remaining solution-focused to help you achieve your identified goals.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

II love working with people who may be going through transitional periods in their life that may be causing extra stress. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to manage those transitions. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about various aspects of their life. I work with my clients to build their coping skills to feel more confident to tackle their goals.
