I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 11 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. My approach is warm, practical, and focused on helping clients feel heard while building real-life tools they can use every day. I draw from evidence-based methods like (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to support meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can gain clarity, build confidence, and move forward with purpose.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first visit, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brings you in. You can expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, background, and what you’d like to get out of therapy, and we’ll begin to identify your goals together. We’ll also talk about how sessions typically work and answer any questions you may have. By the end of the visit, you’ll have a clearer sense of next steps and how we can work together moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes me unique is my ability to balance compassion with practical, real-life strategies that clients can actually use outside of sessions. I create a space where people feel genuinely heard and understood, while also helping them move forward with clear direction and purpose. My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative, which helps clients feel comfortable being open and engaged in their own growth. With over 11 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’ve worked with individuals, families, and children across a range of settings, including providing support as a Military Family Life Counselor. This has given me strong experience helping clients manage depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional struggles in fast-paced, real-world situations. My background allows me to quickly build trust, adapt to each client’s needs, and provide focused, effective support that leads to meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready—or even just curious—about making positive changes in their lives. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next steps, but they’re open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a supportive space. I work best with clients who are willing to engage in the process, reflect honestly, and try small, practical strategies between sessions. These clients don’t have to have everything figured out—they just need a willingness to grow and a desire to feel better and move forward.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that influence their emotions and behaviors. By increasing awareness of automatic negative thoughts, clients learn to reframe them into more balanced, realistic perspectives. I also incorporate practical skill-building—such as behavioral activation, coping strategies, and problem-solving—to support lasting change. This structured, goal-oriented approach empowers clients to develop healthier thinking patterns and improve overall functioning in their daily lives.

Motivational Interviewing

In my practice, I use motivational interviewing to have real, open conversations that help clients figure out what they truly want and what might be holding them back. Instead of telling someone what to do, I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help them see their own strengths and reasons for change. I meet clients where they are and move at their pace, which helps them feel more comfortable and in control. This approach often builds confidence and makes change feel more realistic and achievable.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my practice, I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients quickly move toward the changes they want by focusing on solutions instead of problems. I ask simple, goal-oriented questions—like what life would look like if things improved or when the issue feels a little better—to help clients recognize their strengths and past successes. Together, we identify small, realistic steps they can start right away. This approach is short-term, practical, and helps clients see progress sooner rather than later.
