I get it - therapy can be a scary and weird concept, and many people have had bad past experiences or a mismatch of personality. The MOST important part of therapy is you feel comfortable - in person, virtually, a mixture of both -flexibility is also important. I focus on helping establish boundaries, improve self esteem, and process the past.
My office is a calm, quiet and comfortable space I share with my dog Taffy. I feel therapy should go at the client's pace while discussing both what they are currently coping with while exploring how the past may be influencing current thoughts and actions.
25 years of experience working with kids, teens and adults. People are multilayered and complex, and therapy truly helps to slow your brain and unwind the tornado of thoughts into a stream of awareness, later implemented into confidence and assertiveness.
My clients are children, adolescents, and adult women. They are experiencing anxiety, low self esteem, and have a history of loss, grief, abuse, and/or trauma. I also see young adults and college student clients making and adapting to life choices and rapid life changes. Most clients are looking to stop their 'mental hamster wheel' of negative and intrusive thoughts, and improve self esteem. Many adults are looking to cope with loss, broken family relationships, addiction within the family, and finally explore and resolve childhood trauma.

I mean she is awesome she listens and picks up on things quick and she doesn’t fake anything or sugar coat she says what you need to hear and it is so helpful
