New to Grow
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over six years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and purpose. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019. Since then, I have developed specialized expertise in marital therapy, anger management, ADHD, anxiety, and OCD. I'm also DBT-certified and completed Level 2 training in the Gottman Method of Marital Therapy. I'm currently working toward Level 3 certification to further deepen my work with couples.
In our first session, I'll focus on getting to know you. I’ll ask about what brings you in, your current concerns, and any important background information that can help me understand your experiences more fully. You’re welcome to share at your own pace. We’ll also talk about your goals for therapy and what you hope to get out of our work together. This helps us begin creating a plan that feels meaningful and tailored to your needs. I’ll take time to explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you feel comfortable. My approach is collaborative, so your input is always valued. Most importantly, the first session is about building a sense of safety and connection. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported.
My approach to therapy is both practical and deeply personalized. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model—I will focus on understanding your unique personality, patterns, and experiences so that the work we do actually fits your life. I combine evidence-based methods like DBT and the Gottman Method with real-world application. That means you won’t just gain insight—you’ll leave sessions with tools you can use immediately to manage emotions, communicate more effectively, and handle challenges as they come up. Clients often appreciate that I balance empathy with direction. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space, while also helping you stay focused on meaningful progress. Therapy with me is active and collaborative—we’re not just talking about problems, we’re working toward solutions. For individuals, this often leads to increased self-awareness, better emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of confidence and control. For couples, it can mean improved communication, deeper understanding, and healthier ways of navigating conflict.
