I am a mother of 3 and a board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in psychiatry since 2007. My specialties include Generalized anxiety disorder, Panic disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ADHD, PTSD, LGBTQIA I started my nursing career at the Nurse Residency program at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore in 2007. Graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore as a nurse practitioner in 2015 and have been in the field of psychiatry since 2007. I am experienced in working with all ages in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. I am affiliated with University of Texas Dell Medical school and a former associate professor of psychiatric Nursing at Rasmussen College in Rockford Illinois and Herzing University, Madison Wisconsin. I serve on the executive board for the Association of Ghanaian Advanced Practice Nurses Abroad and also a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners, American Psychiatric Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. In my leisure time I love to paddleboard or kayak or curl up in a chaise reading and sipping something warm. I also love listening to afrobeat music and dancing!

My biggest strengths are communicating and partnering with clients to work on individualized treatment goals. I believe the client plays a major role in treatment and believe in working together to come up with what works best for a client at a particular stage in life.
