Do you feel stuck? Do you experience anxious or worrisome thoughts that drain your energy and keep you from moving forward? For many years I struggled in silence while trying to make sense of the fear, confusion, and sadness I felt on the inside. Eventually, I sought the help of a skilled and compassionate counselor-and it completely turned my life around! I now enjoy helping others to discover solutions and increase clarity in order to move forward with a more meaningful and enjoyable life. Together, we can identify what is holding you back and what will help you to get ‘unstuck’ and move forward! I am trained in evidence-based approaches and techniques that address the whole person- mind, body and spirit. I have found that trust, compassion and mutual collaboration within the therapeutic relationship are the most important factors for promoting healing and personal growth. I would cherish the opportunity to help you reach your personal goals and obtain a higher level of contentment in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our time together, we will begin to clarify what your specific desires and outcome goals for treatment might look like. I will listen with an open heart and provide encouragement, feedback, and practical tools that you can use to assist and help you make progress.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My approach is eclectic and tailored to each client, although the primary method I utilize is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a type of psycho therapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on behavior and emotions. I am also trained in EMDR, a neurological therapy to help treat post trauma symptoms. Together we will work to uncover underlying thought patterns that have kept you ‘stuck’ so that you can move toward adopting more positive thoughts, behaviors, and skills that will empower you to go forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients tell me they feel heard and understood when we work together. My biggest strengths are personal experience, a love of learning, and a willingness to try something new. I am always learning and growing. I believe my best work is done with those who have been wounded in the past, and are now ready to take charge of their personal healing journey.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.
