I am a licensed professional counselor with a passion for supporting individuals through emotional struggles, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. My approach is holistic and client-centered, helping you understand the root of your challenges while building coping strategies that lead to lasting change. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, compassionate environment where you can feel heard and understood, enabling you to make meaningful progress in your mental health and personal growth. My goal is to empower you to take charge of your emotional well-being and create the life you want.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you’ll be welcomed into a safe, open, and supportive space where we’ll begin by discussing your concerns, goals, and any challenges you’re currently facing. I’ll ask questions to better understand your unique situation and perspective. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy and identify specific goals you’d like to achieve. This session is all about building rapport and laying the foundation for our work together. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what therapy will look like moving forward and how we can work collaboratively to address your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider include my ability to listen deeply and offer a non-judgmental, compassionate space for self-exploration. I’m committed to helping clients feel understood and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. By utilizing evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, I provide clients with practical tools and strategies for managing emotions, improving relationships, and fostering personal growth. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to inspire lasting change and resilience. I aim to empower clients to build confidence, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and create the positive changes they seek in their lives.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with adults facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, trauma, and stress management. Many of my clients are individuals who feel overwhelmed or stuck, struggling with unresolved emotions or difficult life situations. They are motivated to understand themselves better and are ready to take proactive steps toward positive change. Whether dealing with a specific life event or seeking personal growth, I collaborate with my clients to provide the support and tools needed to navigate their journey and enhance their emotional resilience. I believe in empowering individuals to take control of their mental health.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, replace them with balanced thoughts, and implement behavioral interventions like activity scheduling. I also guide clients in setting achievable goals and incorporate mindfulness techniques to enhance emotional regulation and self-awareness, helping clients better manage anxiety and stress.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my practice, I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop skills in four key areas: mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I guide clients in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and coping with stress in healthier ways, while promoting acceptance and change.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my practice, I use Person-Centered Therapy to provide a supportive, empathetic environment where clients feel heard and understood. By offering unconditional positive regard, I encourage clients to explore their feelings, gain self-awareness, and make meaningful changes at their own pace. This approach empowers clients to take responsibility for their growth, fostering confidence and a deeper sense of self.
