I am dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. My mission is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can heal, grow, and build resilience. Through a trauma-informed, holistic approach, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy and various other modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether working with neurodivergent individuals, first responders, adoptive families, or trauma survivors, my goal is to empower clients with the tools and insight needed to move from surviving to thriving. Therapy with me is collaborative, personalized, and focused on fostering self-awareness, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. No matter where you are on your journey, I am here to support and guide you every step of the way.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our sessions are a place for you to speak freely, share your story, and explore solutions in a way that feels authentic to you. No topic is off-limits, and I’ll be here to guide and support you every step of the way. Together, we’ll work toward lasting change, helping you embrace healing, nurture growth, and thrive in all areas of your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My passion for helping others stems from my personal journey of self-discovery, growth, and acceptance. Through this journey, I’ve learned to show myself compassion and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges—whether related to loss, transition, grief, parenting, or simply the demands of everyday life. I understand how easy it is to lose sight of our own needs in the whirlwind of life. Between responsibilities and stressors, finding time for yourself can feel impossible. You might even realize that managing everything no longer feels as easy as it once did. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, I want you to know you’re not alone. I’m here to help you find your footing and remind you: it’s okay to ask for help. Together, we’ll explore your challenges and carve out a path toward greater balance and well-being. Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, children, and families, offering compassionate support as they navigate complex emotions and transitions. My approach is collaborative, working closely with my clients and their support networks to create a personalized path to healing that reflects their unique needs and goals. I am also proud to incorporate Animal-Assisted Therapy into my practice. Working with therapy animals can provide an additional layer of comfort, emotional support, and connection during sessions. Animals have a remarkable ability to help us feel at ease, reduce stress, and foster a sense of safety. Through this approach, I aim to enhance the therapeutic experience and offer clients a gentle yet powerful way to engage in their healing journey. The clients I work with often face a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, burnout, parenting difficulties, and feelings of isolation. As a mother of young children, I have a special interest in supporting parents through the ups and downs of parenthood. From navigating extreme fatigue and societal expectations to managing relationships and mood fluctuations, I deeply understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of parenting. Supporting others through this transformative journey is both a privilege and a passion. Through our work together, I aim to help you rediscover your strengths, build resilience, and nurture growth. Nurture Growth. Embrace Healing. Thrive Together.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps identify and reframe negative thought patterns through cognitive restructuring. Encourage behavioral activation by guiding clients to engage in mood-boosting activities, even when unmotivated. Use exposure therapy, thought records, and Socratic questioning to help clients challenge fears and develop healthier beliefs. Assign homework to reinforce skills learned in sessions, promoting long-term change.

Couples Counseling

Help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connections using evidence-based techniques. Address negative thought patterns and behaviors that impact the relationship, promoting healthier interactions. Sessions focus on conflict resolution, emotional intimacy, and practical strategies to foster mutual understanding. Structured exercises and homework are utilized to encourage growth and lasting change beyond the sessions.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness helps clients cultivate awareness, reduce stress, and manage emotions more effectively. By guiding clients in techniques such as mindful breathing, body scans, and grounding exercises to enhance present-moment focus. By incorporating mindfulness-based interventions, clients are supported in breaking free from automatic negative thoughts and reactions. Their approach encourages self-compassion and resilience, fostering long-term emotional well-being.

Trauma Informed Care

All services are integrated with trauma-informed care by creating a safe, supportive environment that prioritizes trust and empowerment. By recognizing the impact of past trauma on thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, integrating techniques that promote healing and resilience. Using approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and grounding exercises, help clients regulate emotions and build coping strategies. Using a client-centered modality assists in ensuring sensitivity to triggers while fostering growth and recovery.
