Hello and welcome. I have many years of experience caring for people of all ages and have worked in various clinical settings. Currently, I provide care for adult patients aged 18-64. I am board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and hold a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). My philosophy of practice is one of servanthood. I also believe in providing care that incorporates the mind, body, and spirit, tailored to each person’s individual issues. I am educated, trained, and qualified to provide comprehensive care in my areas of practice.
Prior to our initial appointment, I will need you to complete and return several forms. Some of the forms will be sent to your Grow Therapy (GT) dashboard, and others will be sent to you as an attachment in the Messages section. This information is needed for me to provide the best possible care for you. During our first appointment, we will have a brief introduction period and review your health history. This will be followed by a discussion of the symptoms you are experiencing. We will then work together to develop a plan of care to meet your specific needs.
I have worked with patients of all ages and treated various mental and physical health disorders. I practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner from 2010 to 2018. I have been practicing in the specialty of psychiatric mental health since leaving family practice. I believe that having combined specialties and a doctorate in nursing practice enables me to develop, implement, and evaluate a more comprehensive treatment plan.
I enjoy working with the adult population. I provide individualized medication management for those with conditions such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and problems related to trauma, PTSD, and domestic abuse. I do not provide therapy at this time. As a prescriber, I also order various diagnostic tests to monitor treatment progress and to detect any signs of medication side effects.

Susan was amazing so very understanding and compassionate. She also is very thorough which I really like.! I would definitely recommend her. She is great at finding solutions for each individual person. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or just life in general, she is definitely amazing. And I would highly recommend Susan!
