Hello there! I am a bilingual licensed professional counselor in Texas with over 12 years experience. I've worked with a variety of clients such as children, teens, college students, and adults. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The beginning will be an important time to talk about the therapy process as well as begin exploring your history, current situation, difficulties, and hopes for the future. Together, we will start developing a plan to get you where you want to be. For minors, the initial appointment will consist of intake and assessment. This will mean a consultation with the caregiver(s) and a time for ‘getting to know’ the youth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am compassionate and a great listener. I will always focus on people's strength's first and foremost. I want to walk alongside you to help you get from a place of darkness and sadness to that of hope and healing.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My current work includes supporting women through all aspects of life. I enjoy working with first gen, Latinx, and young adults. I have a special connection working with moms whether you are currently expecting or in your postpartum stage. Motherhood is amazing but can be lonely, you don't have to go through it alone.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I am very person-centered in my approach and work to create a safe environment for the client to be open throughout the therapeutic process. I value creating a time designed to focus solely on the client; a time to process emotions and gain understanding of your emotions and behaviors; to learn coping skills; and to feel challenged, understood, and heard.
