New to Grow
Hi, I’m Diana, and I’m passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with compassion, support, and practical tools for growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as CBT, while also incorporating faith-based support when desired by the client. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged as they work toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
During your first session, we will spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and the goals you hope to achieve. I will ask questions about your background, relationships, coping patterns, and emotional well-being to better understand how to support you. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to begin the healing process at your own pace.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to balance compassion with practical, goal-oriented support tailored to each client’s unique needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as CBT with a warm, collaborative style that helps clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I also offer faith-based integration when desired, helping clients strengthen both emotional and spiritual wellbeing while building healthier coping skills, relationships, and self-awareness.
I am best positioned to support individuals and couples who are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and healing from past experiences or trauma. I work well with clients who are open to self-reflection, personal growth, and developing practical coping skills to improve emotional wellbeing and daily functioning. I also enjoy supporting clients who are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and faith-sensitive approach to therapy that encourages healing, resilience, and lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop healthier coping skills to improve emotional regulation, relationships, and daily functioning. I support clients in building practical strategies that increase self-awareness, resilience, and confidence in managing life stressors.
Christian Counseling
I incorporate Christian counseling by integrating faith-based principles, biblical values, and spiritual support into the therapeutic process when aligned with the client’s beliefs and goals. I help clients explore how their faith can strengthen coping, healing, forgiveness, identity, and resilience during life challenges. My approach creates a supportive space where clients can process emotional concerns while also nurturing their spiritual wellbeing.
Couples Counseling
Couples counseling helps partners improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and navigate conflict in healthier ways. It provides a supportive space to address relationship stressors, rebuild trust, and better understand one another’s needs and perspectives. Through counseling, couples can develop practical tools to improve intimacy, problem-solving, and overall relationship satisfaction.
