Licensed to practice in Florida and accepts 38 insurances. Specializes in Anxiety, Trauma and PTSD
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in the state of Florida. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions to ensure flexibility and accessibility for the individuals and families I work with. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each person’s unique journey. I believe that healing looks different for everyone, which is why I tailor my therapeutic methods to meet the specific needs and goals of each client. Depending on what feels most helpful, sessions may include evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps address and reframe negative thinking patterns, or mindfulness-based strategies to support emotional regulation, stress reduction, and a greater sense of presence and peace. I also incorporate a variety of practical tools and interventions designed to deepen insight, encourage personal growth, and promote lasting change. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of challenges. I have particular experience supporting clients who have endured complex trauma, including survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, incest, and those navigating the emotional toll of serious illness. I also frequently work with individuals struggling with anxiety, marital or relationship concerns, acculturation issues, and life transitions that bring about adjustment difficulties. At the heart of my practice is a belief in the power of the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a space to explore personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and greater well-being.
The primary focus of our first session will be talking about what has brought you to therapy. After our initial conversation, we can make the determination whether or not I am the right fit for you and your specific needs.
I want you to know that my priority is your improvement, so I will not give you false expectations. You can count on my honesty, even when it's hard to hear.
I enjoy working with all populations , cultures, and religions.

Guadalupe unfortunately was only looking for her best interest and what fit her schedule, then to help someone which is the goal of therapy. We spoke for less than two minutes.... I had a therapist once tell me "if you're going into therapy to make money, you are in the wrong business" I believe this fits the occasion. Good luck Guadalupe, you may be in the wrong industry.

Guadalupe has been the best therapist I've had. I've been in and out of therapy for about 8 years now. I suffer from chronic depression and anxiety. Guadalupe has challenged me and encouraged me all at the same time. She gives me tools to get through day-to-day life. She frankly is brilliant and truly found her calling being a therapist. Anyone who is looking for a direct and to the point therapist that listens and provides feedback and life tools, you will not be disappointed with Guadalupe!!

I am continuing my mental health journey with Guadalupe because she is approaching the work by providing me with ways to define the issues, giving clear examples and asking very thoughtful questions. I am learning about myself and feeling lighter and more relieved each session.
