Originally, and still at heart, from the Lowcountry of South Carolina, my family and I returned to Northeast Florida in 2015 once my husband retired from the military. Now, as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am able to use my experience as a military spouse, mother of two and a bonus teen, 2 dogs, and green thumbs, to engage with my clients.
In an understanding and empathetic manner, I work with my clients as they begin to discover what they personally need. Only after acknowledging what that individual is missing or has unfortunately been neglecting, can we work together to create goals, repair bonds, and become the best version of themselves.
I fully believe in the importance of total well-being. Focusing on self-care is how you take the first step toward healing yourself. I can’t wait to meet you where you are now, and through our work together, watch how you grow!
As people, we juggle several different roles daily, so finding a rhythm, any kind of balance, or a moment to breathe can be challenging. However, it is not impossible. Our lives are more than just the sum of our parts- and there are a lot of parts!
I have level 1 and 2 level training for the Gottman Method, as well as experience co-leading the Art and Science of Love Workshops.
It is important to learn how you are thinking about your thoughts, in order to begin changing your mindset. This method teaches you how.
