First session
In our first session, we will take time to get to know you, your concerns, your goals, and what led you to seek support. I will ask questions about your mental health, medical history, lifestyle, stressors, relationships, medications, and overall wellness so we can better understand the full picture of your needs. This session is also a space for you to share what feels most important to you at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying your goals and discuss a personalized treatment plan, which may include therapy, medication management, coping strategies, hormone optimization, weight management, or other wellness supports when appropriate. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clear about the next steps in your care. **If you are looking at my availability and need a sooner day/time, please send me a message. **
Strengths
My greatest strengths are my warmth, clinical experience, and whole-person approach to care. I help clients feel heard, respected, and supported while also providing practical tools they can use in daily life. I combine therapy, medication management, wellness planning, hormone optimization, and weight management when appropriate to support emotional and physical well-being. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and focused on helping clients gain clarity, build coping skills, and create meaningful change.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who is seeking compassionate, culturally responsive, and whole-person mental health support. I am best positioned to serve adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related symptoms, life transitions, relationship or family challenges, parenting stress, emotional burnout, or difficulty managing day-to-day responsibilities. I especially enjoy working with clients who are motivated to better understand themselves, build healthier coping skills, and make meaningful changes in their lives, even if they are feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to begin. Many of the clients I work with are navigating complex personal, cultural, professional, or family stressors and are looking for a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, respected, and understood. My approach is collaborative, warm, and practical. I help clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, strengthen emotional regulation, improve self-confidence, and develop tools they can use outside of sessions. I am also well positioned to serve bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking clients who value care that honors their background, lived experience, and personal goals. Overall, my ideal client is someone who wants support in healing, gaining clarity, improving emotional wellness, and creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a treatment method I use to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical responses. In my practice, I incorporate CBT strategies to support clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, stress, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. My experience with CBT includes helping clients recognize negative or unhelpful thought patterns, challenge cognitive distortions, and develop healthier coping skills. I use CBT in a practical and collaborative way by helping clients explore how their thoughts influence their mood and choices, while also identifying behaviors that may be keeping them stuck.
