(she/her)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work Degree from St. Ambrose University. I will meet you where you are currently at, and we will move on together from there. My approach to therapy is to make you feel comfortable and empowered in a safe space to help you find solutions and techniques to help you become the best version of you by using a strengths-based and person-centered approach to therapy.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introduction, followed by discussing the challenges you have been facing. Through an intake together we can determine a plan that works best for you.
My greatest strengths as a provider are that I am a warm, empathetic humorous person who loves to help those who are struggling with day to day life.
I love working with those who have depression and anxiety. I enjoy helping them find the coping skills that work for them, as not every coping skill works for everyone.
At Canton Counseling Center, therapy isn’t just treatment — it’s a path to healing. My name is Jessica, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered. I offer talk therapy using a strengths-based, person-centered approach, incorporating techniques from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to help you build practical tools for lasting growth. Do you find yourself feeling low without knowing why? Struggling to enjoy the things you used to love — or wanting to, but feeling stuck and unable to move forward? Maybe anxiety is constantly running in the background, or ADHD makes it hard to focus, stay organized, or manage daily stress. You're not alone. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s holding you back and find a path forward that’s grounded in you. Because no one knows you better than you do.
