I’m Mark, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 9 years of experience in psychiatric nursing. In 2025, I founded EOS Nursing, a practice built on psychiatric care that looks at the whole person, not just a diagnosis. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management. My background includes correctional health, withdrawal management, at-risk communities, and outpatient care for working professionals, so I’ve met people at many different points in their lives. I’m direct, warm, and practical. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and steadier week to week.

First session

Our first session is a full psychiatric evaluation, and it’s a conversation, not an interrogation. We’ll talk about what brought you in, your history, what you’ve tried before, and what you want to change. I’ll explain what I’m seeing in plain language and walk you through your options, including whether medication makes sense for you right now. You’ll leave with a clear, realistic plan and an understanding of the reasoning behind it. Most of all, I want you to walk out feeling heard and a little lighter than when you came in.

Strengths

I bring calm and steadiness, especially when things feel overwhelming. My time in correctional and withdrawal care taught me to stay grounded, read between the lines, and meet people without judgment, whatever they’re carrying. I’m collaborative about medication: I explain my reasoning, listen to how you’re actually feeling about a treatment, and adjust with you. I’ll hold space when you need it, and I’ll gently push back when something isn’t working. You’ll always know where we’re headed and why.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is an adult who’s ready to feel better and wants a provider who takes them seriously. Many of the people I work with are working professionals juggling demanding jobs, family, and responsibilities while managing anxiety, depression, mood changes, trouble sleeping, or difficulty focusing. Some have tried medication before and felt rushed or unheard. Others are exploring it for the first time. Either way, they want honest answers, a clear plan, and a partner who adjusts treatment with them instead of handing them a prescription and moving on.

Treatment methods

Supportive

Medication is only part of feeling better, so supportive therapy is built into every visit with me. That means each appointment includes real conversation, not just a quick check on symptoms and refills. I listen to what’s going on in your life, help you make sense of stressors, and offer practical encouragement and coping strategies along the way. My goal is to help you feel steadier, more confident, and better equipped to handle what comes up between visits, while your medication does its part.
