(She/Her)
I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges for the past 30 years. It’s truly an honor to support people through difficult times and be part of their journey toward healing and growth. I’ve supported individuals working through trauma, addiction, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain—often carrying pain they’ve held for a long time. Together, we begin a journey of healing and change, uncovering what’s been holding them back and building a path forward that feels meaningful, empowering, and aligned with who they truly are. My approach is warm and grounded in evidence-based practices. I strive to help you feel safe, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. The work we do together can help you reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
Our first session will be a opportunity for you to share what’s been weighing on you, what you’re struggling with, and what you hope to gain from therapy. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. My focus will be to listen with care, understand your unique story, and begin building a trusting connection. This time is for you, and we’ll move at your pace as we begin your journey toward healing and growth.
I place deep value on creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where individuals feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I approach each person with warmth and respect, recognizing the courage it takes to begin this work. Therapy is tailored to your unique needs ,
My ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed—carrying the weight of trauma, caught in the grip of addiction, struggling with anxiety or grief, or feeling lost in the midst of life transitions—and is ready to begin the journey toward healing. They may not have all the answers, but they’re open to exploring their experiences and emotions. They’re looking for a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where they can feel safe, seen, and supported as they reconnect with themselves and begin to build a more grounded, meaningful life.
I use EMDR and Flash techniques to support individuals in reprocessing trauma, distressing experiences, and negative core beliefs that may be impacting their lives. These methods promote healing by reducing emotional intensity, shifting unhelpful patterns, altering limiting beliefs, and decreasing PTSD symptoms. EMDR can also be a valuable approach in treating addiction, helping clients reduce cravings, work through underlying triggers and build more adaptive coping strategies.
I use schema therapy to help individuals explore and understand limiting beliefs and unhelpful behavioral patterns that may be rooted in early life experiences.
I use polyvagal therapy to help individuals understand how their nervous system responds to stress and trauma. Often, the nervous system may misinterpret cues, reacting as if there’s danger—even when there isn’t. Through body-based techniques such as breathwork and grounding, clients learn to shift out of survival states (fight, flight, or freeze) into more regulated, calm states, allowing them to more accurately interpret and respond to what is happening in the present moment.
I use trauma-informed care to create a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for individuals, recognizing the impact that past trauma can have on current behavior and emotional responses. This approach helps reduce the risk of retraumatization by prioritizing trust, choice, and collaboration. It supports individuals in building resilience and a stronger sense of control in their healing process.
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their ambivalence about substance use and strengthen their own motivation for change. This collaborative, non-judgmental approach supports clients in identifying personal goals and values, making it especially effective in addressing addiction. By empowering clients to take ownership of their recovery, MI fosters lasting and meaningful change.
