Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Michigan. I am passionate about helping children, adolescents and young adults heal from challenging life experiences, distressing changes, trauma, and patterns of thought and behavior that are difficult to escape. It is my privilege to support and collaborate with clients struggling with mental health challenges and assist them on their path to wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions. We will go over your presenting needs and goals which will help me understand how I can best help you. Next, we will collaborate to establish an integrative and effective plan for addressing your unique circumstances in our sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths are found in my innate ability to connect with individuals, as well as my inherent pattern-recognition skills which allow me to help you identify the root cause of your challenges. I am confident in my ability to provide the skillset and compassion that is needed in order to explore complex emotions and vulnerable experiences while reducing feelings of shame.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

In practicing Trauma Informed Care, I have had the privilege of supporting clients across various age groups, from children and adolescents to adults. My formal education, extensive training and background have equipped me with a deep understanding of trauma's pervasive impact on individuals, their loved ones, their health and overall lives. I am dedicated to helping my clients process and heal from their trauma through an integrative approach tailored to their unique needs. I strive to create a compassionate and supportive environment where clients can safely explore their experiences and work towards reclaiming their sense of empowerment. By providing this nurturing and affirming space, I aim to facilitate meaningful healing for those I support.

Integrative

I utilize integrative, evidence-based methods to guide my clients toward mental wellness and healing. By establishing a strong sense of safety and trust, we can collaboratively explore the roots of their challenges. This person-centered eclectic approach allows clients to gain valuable insights into their emotions, behaviors, and relationships, uncovering how past experiences and formative relationships may influence their current patterns. We examine themes of attachment, self-identity, inner-child needs, unconscious thinking habits and self-talk, intersectional systemic factors and more. Through this process, clients will learn valuable tools and rediscover their strengths, empowering them to lead the fulfilling lives they deserve.
