New to Grow
I’m a licensed therapist who helps individuals navigate addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and the complex experiences that come with being human. My practice is grounded in compassion, accountability, and evidence-based care. I specialize in supporting adults working through substance use, alcohol use disorder, eating disorders, and compulsive behaviors, as well as those seeking healing from trauma. I also work closely with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, offering a space that is affirming, culturally aware, and judgment-free. My approach is collaborative and practical—we’ll identify what’s getting in your way, build coping skills that actually work, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is simple: to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered to create a life that feels more aligned and less overwhelming.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is all about getting to know you—who you are, what you’re struggling with, and what you hope to change. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What sets me apart is the balance I bring between compassion and accountability. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely understood—sometimes for the first time—while also feeling challenged in ways that help them grow. I’m not a passive therapist who just nods; I’m engaged, collaborative, and committed to real progress. I have extensive experience working with addiction, trauma, eating disorders, and compulsive behaviors, which allows me to hold space for some of the most difficult and shame-filled parts of people’s lives without judgment. My background across multiple levels of care—from outpatient to intensive programs—gives me a deep understanding of how to support clients through both crisis and long-term healing. I’m also skilled at helping clients who feel stuck or overwhelmed find practical next steps. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, or identity-related stress, I focus on tools you can actually use in real life—not just in session. My work is affirming and culturally aware, especially for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients who need a therapist who sees the whole context of their lived experience. Safety, respect, and authenticity guide everything I do.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready for change—even if they’re not sure where to begin. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in cycles that no longer serve them: addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma responses, or patterns of coping that once helped but now create more pain. They’re often carrying shame, overwhelm, or a sense of isolation, and they want a therapist who can meet them with both honesty and compassion. I’m especially drawn to working with clients navigating substance use, alcohol use disorder, eating disorders, and compulsive behaviors like pornography or gambling. I also work well with people who have experienced trauma and are looking for a space where they don’t have to explain or minimize their story just to be understood. My ideal clients include members of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities who want culturally competent, affirming care from someone who respects their identities and lived experiences. Whether you’re feeling anxious, depressed, disconnected, or unsure how to repair relationships, I work best with clients who want a collaborative process—someone to help them understand their patterns, build healthier strategies, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and meaningful.
