(he/him)
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nine years of experience. I have worked with both women and men who have experienced domestic violence in their relationships. Additionally, I have supported teens, young adults, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges, including depression, anxiety, and other stressors. My approach focuses on helping clients discover personalized strategies to manage and overcome these difficulties.
In our first session, we’ll identify the areas you’d like to focus on throughout the therapeutic process. Together, we’ll set goals and create a plan to guide our work.
My experience as a therapist and as a human dealing with life’s challenges has helped me in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood.
Life transitions such as graduating from high school or college, changing jobs, becoming a parent, or going through a divorce can often bring anxiety and stress. I help clients gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, set personal goals, and build communication skills to manage these challenges with greater confidence and clarity
Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Once they understand this relationship, we work together to change one aspect to reduce symptoms and improve functioning.
