Hi! My name is Jessica. I am a Clinical Social Worker with a Masters degree from U of I Chicago and my Undergraduate degree at U of I Champaign (I.L.L.). My clinical experience began in 2004 as a therapist for a foster care program. I have experience assessing crisis and referring to appropriate levels of care, inpatient and outpatient therapy and utilization/case management. I am generally laid back, compassionate, empathetic and genuinely motivated to help others become their best self.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will consist of discussing your motivation for treatment, gathering history and discussing a general plan moving forward.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I am very laid back. I will always start with where you are and will work with you on your terms. But, also gently push you in the direction towards growth :-)
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
The bulk of my experience is with children 3-17 who were in crisis; dealing with depression, anxiety and self esteem issues. I also have experience working with adults in the same capacity as well as dealing with relationships and aging. My personal goal is to always help people feel better.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with those who want to work on parenting support, ADHD, depression, anxiety, bullying, self esteem and personal growth.
