New to Grow
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges while building resilience, confidence, and meaningful change. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I work with adolescents, adults, and LGBTQ+ individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, family conflict, and life transitions. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping strategies, and work toward goals that align with the life you want to create. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Attachment-Based Therapy to meet your individual needs. I know reaching out for support isn't always easy, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Whether you're looking for tools to manage everyday stress or healing from past experiences, I'm committed to creating a welcoming, affirming space where you can feel understood, challenged, and supported every step of the way.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's normal to have questions or feel a little nervous. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, and exploring the goals you hope to achieve. I'll also ask questions about your background, current challenges, strengths, and support system so I can better understand your experiences. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we'll begin identifying areas to focus on and discuss what treatment may look like moving forward. You don't need to have everything figured out before our first meeting. We'll work together to create a plan that feels right for you and supports the changes you want to make.
I bring authenticity, empathy, and a collaborative approach to every session. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and supported while also feeling challenged to grow. I believe in meeting people where they are, recognizing their strengths, and helping them build practical skills to navigate life's challenges. What sets my approach apart is my ability to balance compassion with accountability. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I tailor each session to your unique experiences, goals, and strengths while integrating evidence-based practices that support meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship where you feel empowered to gain insight, develop confidence, and create the life you want.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to do the work and take an active role in their healing and growth. They may be navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, family dynamics, or a major life transition and are looking for support in understanding themselves on a deeper level. I work best with clients who are open to reflection, willing to explore their experiences, and ready to build new tools for moving forward. I believe therapy is a partnership, and meaningful change happens when we create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to be honest about where you are and where you want to go. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they identify their strengths, work through challenges, and create a life that feels more aligned with their values. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just have to be willing to take the first step.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and develop practical coping strategies. CBT is collaborative, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client's unique needs and treatment goals.
I use Attachment-Based Therapy to help clients understand how early relationships influence current emotions, behaviors, and connections with others. Together, we strengthen healthy relationship patterns, build emotional security, and support lasting healing through safe, trusting therapeutic relationships and self-awareness.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand the different parts of themselves with curiosity and compassion. Together, we explore internal conflicts, promote self-leadership, and support healing by strengthening connection, balance, and emotional well-being.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients accept difficult thoughts and emotions while focusing on what matters most. Together, we build psychological flexibility, strengthen coping skills, and take meaningful actions aligned with each client's values and goals.
