New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Tampa Bay Area. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Social Work from Florida International University and I have been providing mental health services to an array of individuals for over 8 years. I have always valued the importance of community and I truly believe no one is meant to get through life and the challenges that come with it, alone. Aside from mental health, I am a big movie lover, sports fan, and I enjoy trying new recipes.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I make it a point to create a space where you will feel seen and heard. I believe in empowering others to make choices that align with their values and assist in their overall growth.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I take on a more practical approach while incorporating evidence-based modalities and interventions. Therapy is not a cookie cutter service and I tailor sessions to the specific needs of each person. I will meet you where you are and support you on getting to where you want to be.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Clients who come to therapy open, motivated, and ready to do the work. They’re willing to take accountability when needed, while also giving themselves grace as they grow and make changes. They’re open to feedback, curious about trying new ways of coping or thinking, and understand that progress isn’t about perfection. They also appreciate that healing doesn’t always have to be heavy—there’s room for humor at appropriate times, because laughter can be a powerful and healing part of the process too.
EMDR
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a structured, evidence-based approach to help clients process distressing or traumatic experiences. EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing process by using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) while we safely revisit and reprocess past experiences. This can reduce emotional intensity, shift negative beliefs, and help clients feel more grounded, resilient, and empowered in the present.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical strategies to challenge them and build healthier coping skills.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use person-centered therapy to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. This approach emphasizes your strengths, values, and capacity for growth, allowing therapy to move at your pace and in a direction that feels right for you. Through empathy, authenticity, and collaboration, I support clients in gaining insight, confidence, and self-trust.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify strengths, resources, and solutions rather than focusing primarily on problems. We work collaboratively to clarify goals, highlight what is already working, and build small, practical steps toward meaningful change. This approach is future-focused, empowering, and designed to create progress in a clear and efficient way.
