About me

When we are treated poorly, pain lingers—often leaving us with more questions than answers: fear, anxiety, uncertainty, mistrust. You are not alone. You deserve the time and space to express what is on your mind and feel completely seen, valued, and supported. I am committed to helping you find the answers and resolution you deserve. Together, we will create the ultimate conditions for healing, growth, and empowerment for you to reach your goals. My role is to help during stressful times, and equip you with lasting tools to navigate whatever life brings. I love working with individuals, couples, and families of all backgrounds and identities, and have extensive experience with straight and LGBTQ+ folx. You'll always find me open, honest, nonjudgmental, and fully present with you. I look forward to connecting with you and offering the guidance and support you deserve.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Many of my clients share that even when they felt hesitant before a session, they felt significantly better afterward equipped with new strategies to make a meaningful difference in their lives. You can expect to feel a great sense of relief, empowerment, and encouragement with a new perspective to experience the improvements you deserve.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is the intention I bring into every therapeutic relationship: to honor your beliefs, customs, and values as they are, not as I assume them to be. This means continually examining my own beliefs and blind spots, rather than treating cultural sensitivity as something learned once and set aside, paired with a genuine willingness to keep learning from the people I work with. No one knows your life better than you do. I see my role as walking alongside you with curiosity, humility, and care. I move fluidly between structure and flexibility. Some sessions call for concrete skills, like a grounding technique, an exercise to challenge unhelpful thoughts, or a biofeedback exercise you can practice between sessions. Others call for space to simply be heard, explored, and understood without a fixed agenda. My strength lies in reading which one you need in the moment and adapting accordingly, rather than forcing every session into the same shape. I'm also skilled at helping people make sense of what feels confusing or overwhelming, whether that's untangling anxious thought spirals, understanding relationship patterns, or making peace with a part of yourself you've struggled to accept. I bring the same openness, honesty, and full presence to this work that I promise from our very first conversation. Ultimately, my goal isn't just symptom relief. It's equipping you with tools and insight you'll carry far beyond our work together, so you feel more capable, more grounded, and more yourself in whatever life brings next.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Most of our thought patterns were learned along the way, which means they can be unlearned too. That's the idea behind Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: how you feel comes from how you think. In order to feel better, we work together to identify unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and change the way you think.

Humanistic

My work as a therapist is rooted in humanistic theory, which is built on a simple but powerful belief: you already have the capacity for growth, insight, and healing within you. My job isn't to fix you or tell you who to be — it's to create the kind of relationship and space where your own wisdom can surface and guide the way forward. In practice, this means three things guide everything I do: Unconditional Positive Regard — I bring genuine warmth and acceptance to our work together, without judgment. You don't have to filter yourself, perform, or show up "put together." Whatever you bring into the room — doubt, anger, grief, confusion — is welcome here. Empathy — I work to truly understand your experience from the inside out, not just from a clinical distance. This means listening closely, asking questions that help me see the world as you see it, so what you're going through feels understood, not just labeled. Congruence — I aim to be real with you. I won't hide behind a "therapist mask." Being genuine in our relationship helps build the kind of trust that makes deep work possible.
