New to Grow
Hi, I'm Taylor, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing individual therapy to adults throughout Massachusetts. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I specialize in working with anxiety, OCD, autism and ADHD, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship concerns, and stress. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs, integrating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. Whether you're navigating overwhelming emotions, feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, or seeking a better understanding of yourself, I'm here to help you build practical skills while creating meaningful, lasting change.
During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and goals so I can better understand your experiences and what you'd like to achieve. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn about my approach, and determine whether we're a good fit. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we'll begin developing a treatment plan that reflects your needs, values, and goals for therapy.
I strive to create a therapy space where clients feel genuinely understood, respected, and accepted. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be themselves, while also being supported to challenge unhelpful patterns and develop new skills. My approach balances warmth and empathy with practical, evidence-based strategies. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to each client's goals, strengths, and preferences. I also value providing psychoeducation so clients can better understand themselves and the reasons behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is for clients to leave sessions not only feeling supported, but with tools and insights they can apply in their daily lives.
I work best with adults who are ready to better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives, even if they're not sure where to start. Many of my clients experience generalized anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, life transitions, stress, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, or are navigating autism or ADHD. Some come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or difficulty managing emotions, while others are seeking support as they adjust to major life changes or better understand their neurodivergent experiences. Whether you're looking to develop healthier coping skills, improve relationships, reduce anxiety, increase confidence, or gain a deeper understanding of yourself, we'll work together to create goals that feel realistic, meaningful, and aligned with what matters most to you.
Other specialties
I identify as
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use Person-Centered Therapy to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change, so I prioritize empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. By meeting clients where they are and collaborating throughout the therapeutic process, I help them build self-awareness, strengthen confidence in their own abilities, and work toward goals that align with their values.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, reducing distress, improving relationships, and responding more effectively to life's challenges. Together, we build skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, then apply them to real-life situations. I tailor these strategies to each client's unique needs so they feel practical, achievable, and sustainable outside of therapy.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. Together, we explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and actions, using practical strategies to challenge unhelpful beliefs, develop healthier coping skills, and build more balanced ways of thinking. My goal is to help clients gain tools they can confidently use in everyday life to manage anxiety, stress, and other challenges.
