Welcome! I’m Maribel Diaz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience in mental health and 17 years as a School Social Worker. I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate the emotional challenges of separation, divorce, and relationship transitions. My work includes supporting clients through infidelity, intimacy and trust issues, and communication breakdowns. These experiences can bring deep pain and uncertainty, yet they can also open the door to healing and self-understanding. I help clients make sense of these changes, manage anxiety, and build a healthier, more grounded future.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and clarify what brings you to therapy. Together, we’ll begin creating a roadmap to address the stressors that make navigating marriage, divorce, or parenting difficult. I’ll help you identify what may be affecting your sleep, emotional balance, and relationships, so we can start building a healthier connection with yourself and others.
I provide a holistic and personalized treatment experience using a blend of evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs. My work integrates Trauma-Informed CBT, Schema Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and create lasting change.
I enjoy working with individuals navigating major life transitions, such as marriage, divorce, infidelity, or new beginnings. Many of my clients are seeking balance, healing, and a renewed sense of self as they adjust to change. They’re motivated to overcome insecurity and create stability in their relationships and daily lives. Together, we work to ease anxiety, sadness, and overwhelm while fostering growth and resilience.
