Hi I am Tammy. There are times life becomes difficult. Obstacles present themselves and you just need guidance on how to overcome or cope with them. Situations may cause you to feel as if there is a loss of control of your life. Generational challenges, including trauma, addictions, communication problems, and stress could cause a once-balanced lifestyle to become chaotic. Life happens and everyone needs an advocate. For those times I am there to help clients, move forward and maneuver life, family, career, and social interactions. Allow me to support and guide you through your growth and self-awareness process. You are welcome to contact me, so we can start a journey of healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Generational trauma, unprocessed traumas, anxiety, attachment, and stress are some of my specialties.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

Using the trauma-informed approach, I consider the physical, emotional, and social impact of trauma on clients. It helps to identify client's experiences and vulnerabilities and prioritizes restoring their feelings of safety, choice, and control.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) I use as a part of psychotherapy, that helps clients accept their thoughts and emotions without trying to avoid or suppress them.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) I've used to help clients to recover from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related conditions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that combines cognitive therapy and behavior therapy to help clients with mental and emotional health issues.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I've used Person-Centered Therapy, to help clients take responsibility for their lives and solve problems independently.
