New to Grow
I am a bilingual therapist fluent in Spanish and English, deeply committed to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of individuals in our communities. I view therapy not just as a profession, but as a calling—an opportunity to walk alongside people through their most difficult and meaningful life journeys. With experience working in multicultural settings, I bring a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to therapy. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet each person’s unique needs and challenges. With experience working in multicultural settings, I bring a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to therapy. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet each person’s unique needs and challenges. My work focuses on helping individuals manage trauma, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. Whether you’re navigating emotional distress, life transitions, or simply seeking a space to grow and reflect, I’m here to support you with compassion, respect, and guidance.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive connection. We will review confidentiality and go over how therapy works. I’ll ask questions to better understand your concerns, including any experiences with trauma, relationship challenges, conflict, or life transitions. You are encouraged to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to go into detail before you feel ready. We will also discuss your goals for therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. There will be time for you to ask questions and share any concerns. This session is about starting where you are and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space to begin your journey.
What stands out about my approach is a strong focus on healing through evidence-based methods, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I help clients process and resolve the impact of trauma and distressing experiences, rather than just managing symptoms. My work emphasizes creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. Through EMDR and other therapeutic techniques, I support clients in reducing emotional distress, improving regulation, and shifting negative beliefs into more adaptive, empowering ones. The goal is not only symptom relief, but deeper, lasting healing—helping clients feel more grounded, resilient, and confident in their daily lives.
I am best positioned to support individuals experiencing trauma, relational distress, conflict, and adjustment-related challenges. My ideal clients often feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or impacted by past or current stressors, and are seeking a safe space to process and regain a sense of control. I work well with clients who are navigating life transitions, struggling in relationships, or coping with symptoms related to anxiety and adjustment disorders. Many of my clients are motivated for change, even if they feel uncertain or hesitant, and are open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and patterns at their own pace. I am particularly effective with individuals who want to process trauma, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways of communicating and managing conflict. My approach supports clients in building insight, strengthening resilience, and creating more balanced and fulfilling relationships. Whether clients are new to therapy or returning after time away, I strive to meet them where they are and provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment that fosters growth, healing, and meaningful change.
