Welcome! I am a mental health clinician licensed in Florida with extensive experience. I have worked with clients on a wide range of concerns including substance abuse/addiction, depression, personality disorders, relationship issues, career challenges, anxiety, ADHD, autism, domestic violence, as well as those who have experienced trauma and/or abuse. We’ll begin with an introductory session where I’ll ask some questions about your goals and expectations. From there, we’ll talk through a tentative treatment plan and discuss specific coping skills, communication tools, patterns of behavior, and action items that will help enhance your quality of life. I am excited to support you in your journey and I look forward to working together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Keep in mind that progress is not linear. It is helpful to know that the work we'll be doing together requires practice and patience. You can expect to be provided with resources to use throughout the week in between our sessions. We'll be working toward building the life that you want for yourself.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I believe firmly in strengthening one's identity through authentic connection and acceptance. My approach includes methods from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, humanistic, and mindfulness techniques. Assessments for Emotional Support Animals (ESA Letters), ADHD, and Autism (RAADS) are also available.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I spent the first half of my career working in the communications industry. I enjoyed collaborating with people and discovered a true passion for making genuine, authentic connections with others. I decided to pursue licensure as a therapist as a way to combine the power of connection with the healing process. We are all wired for connection and it is through relationships that we can experience transformative healing. It is an incredible privilege to hold space for a person and hear their story.
